New Paper!

Check out our new paper in the Journal of Experimental Psychopathology, “A test of the initiation-termination model of worry“, with collaborator Howard Berenbaum and his team. In this paper, we report evidence that people’s tendencies to start worrying (“initiation”) can be distinguished from their tendencies to continue worrying (“termination”), and that difficulty terminating worry is predicted by emotion-induced blindness. This is consistent with (and fine tunes) our lab’s earlier finding that emotion-induced blindness predicts the degree to which people worry and ruminate (Onie & Most, 2017). Read it at:
