Briana receives prestigious NRSA!

Congrats to former lab member Briana Kennedy (PhD, 2016), who has received a prestigious Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NSRA). This award — from the National Institutes of Health in the US — is extremely selective and will provide Briana with a stipend and her own research funds. Now a postdoc in Mara Mather’s lab at the University of Southern California, Briana’s research focuses on attention-emotion interactions, as well as how they change with age and Alzheimer’s Disease.
