Congratulations, Jenna & Vera!

Major congrats to PhD students Jenna Zhao and Vera Newman for their powerhouse performances at the 2017 meeting of the Australasian Society for Experimental Psychology! Jenna won a coveted “Best Student Talk” award for her presentation “Spontaneous recruitment of proactive control does not mitigate emotion-induced blindness” (co-authored with a very proud Lab Director). Vera won “Highly Commended Student Talk” (aka ‘runner up’) for her presentation “The impact of stress on executive function: Investigating the role of emotion regulation” (additionally co-authored with colleagues Belinda Liddell & Denovan Begg).
