Ph.D. student, Vera Newman, and Honours student, Sandersan Onie, presented talks at the Sydney Postgraduate Psychology Conference at the University of Sydney on November 25.
Vera’s talk was titled “Using virtual reality to explore the relationship between stress and executive function“.
Sandy’s talk was titled “Distinct mechanisms of attentional bias: Emotion-induced blindness and dot probe uniquely predict negative affect“.
Among a highly competitive field of 80 student talks, Sandy received one of five highly coveted awards for best presentation. Congratulations Sandy!
